Rebuilding entire front end. Bought these spindles for the nice upgrade and new bearings/hub. So far got passenger side done and it fit it perfectly. Hope to have drivers side done today and get these old spindles returned! Only drawback is the dust shield. Factory dust shield is a one piece making it impossible to remove and install on new spindles.
they bolted up easy, they look good, and they work! enough said.
We just installed these on our 1st gen Tacoma and are excited to get them on the road. One issue we encountered is that there seemed to be a manufacturer's defect in the alignment for one of the lower ball joint bolt holes. The bolt threaded in fine on its own, but mated with the steering knuckle, it didn't line up exactly. We were able to power through and get them torqued, but it was a little worrisome at first and ratcheting was tough. It was the same issue with the same bolt hole on both left and right spindles.
