Do you have a first gen Tundra or Tacoma with un even brake power? Maybe you have heavy loads in your bed? Failing LSPV valve? Desire to have total control? There are many reasons why one might consider switching to a manual valve. This kit will allow you to easily remove the factory LSPV that can often not be doing its job well and give you total control to send your preferred power ratio to the front and back brakes. Every rig is different and this allows you to dial it in perfectly.
NEW UPDATE November 1, 2024: the bracket is now thicker gauge for firmer mounting and powdercoated for maximum longevity and corrosion resistance. New premium hardware for sleek and easy valve mounting. Valve adapter is included to properly fit factory Toyota brake lines and the Wilwood Valve inlet port.
If you are looking to remove your factory LSPV and replace it with a Wilwood manual proportioning valve this kit includes the fittings, bolts, and bracket to mount it in the factory location with option to purchase with valve or without (valve is needed for kit to be complete).

If you are expecting the kit to be a miracle cure for bad brake performance,
there are other things to investigate first. Old brake fluid, worn out rubber lines,
leaks, air in the lines, air in the ABS system, old brake pads / shoes / rotors / drums, incorrectly adjusted rear brakes, bad master cylinder / brake booster
could be potential causes for braking system problems. This kit eliminates the
LSPV valve, which can wear out and cause inconsistent braking performance as
well as give you some adjustability.

When I bought my 2004 DC the previous owner had done a disc brake swap. Did all the things - new pads, rotors, fluid flushes etc but it was still wearing in the rear abnormally fast. Lance suggested this mod and it completely transformed the braking in my truck. I carry a Super Pacific camper and a mild build out every day and this single handedly made the truck brake so much better. Lance got it dialed in for me!

Upgrading my Tundra to GX460 brakes, bigger rotors, new pads and extended brake lines. Great time do delete that dumb valve under the bed. Was looking to buy parts separately, but why....when this delete kit has all you need.
